About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Invoicing and Costing to join our team at Canada Cartage. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of customer invoicing and compilation of month-end reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze shipment transaction data to generate accurate customer billing rates and associated carrier costs.
  • Ensure customer rate updates are implemented.
  • Audit invoices for shipment validity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Generate month-end revenue and cost estimates.
  • Actively participate in UAT for onboarding new invoicing software.
  • Provide support for interim and year-end audit work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in finance, business management with an analytical focus.
  • Some experience in logistics required.
  • A business degree (MBA is considered an asset).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
