Key Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the e-commerce services team at Amazon, you will have end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, including product definition, roadmap planning, and resource planning and project execution.

You will lead the definition and execution of strategic projects aimed at reducing the total cost and time to market for launch. This involves working closely with business and operations leadership, including executive leadership at Amazon, to define the product and provide updates on the program.

The role requires hands-on involvement in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.

You will be responsible for making project decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus, and work closely with development teams to play a leadership role in product architecture and design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

Estimated Salary Range: $128,100/year - $214,000/year based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
