Job Title: Security Developer 4-Canada

About the Role:

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Security Developer 4-Canada to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing advanced security systems, applications, and architectures to protect our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced security systems, applications, and architectures to protect Oracle's cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Provide technical advice and direction to support the design and development of secure architectures.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and coordination with other business units.
  • Develop and implement new methods, playbooks, and scripts to improve security operations and incident response.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a multi-year security roadmap.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to junior-level security operations engineers in the department.

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Advanced knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and security methodologies.
  • Experience with intrusion detection technologies, protocol analyzers, and network security tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
