We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our Operations team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC - B85. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt and processing of incoming shipments, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders
- Operate powered equipment, such as forklifts and cherry pickers, to move inventory and supplies
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Microsoft Office products and applications experience
