Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Remediation Project Manager to join our team at Environmental Chemical Corp. in Port Hope, Ontario. This is a full-time position that requires experience with environmental or civil construction projects.

As an Environmental Remediation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the activities of designated projects to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. You will plan and direct project activities, review project proposals, establish work plans and staffing, arrange for personnel recruitment, and direct project personnel to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and the ability to work effectively with government regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct project activities to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the project.
  • Arrange for personnel recruitment or assignment.
  • Direct and coordinate project personnel to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.

Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and stakeholders.
