Job Title: Associate Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Associate Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team at Ontario Teachers'. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality communication and marketing materials for various internal and external channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design graphic materials for digital and print mediums, ensuring all materials are on-brand and align with OTPP brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team and other internal teams to understand project requirements and translate complicated business needs into engaging designs.
  • Manage ongoing projects with quick turnaround times, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Creative Production in selecting external freelance resources and act as a brand consultant for outsourced design projects.
  • Shoot photography and videography when in-house multimedia execution and production are required.
  • Support the expansion and maintenance of design/brand guidelines by building new reference guidelines and updating existing guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design innovations to inform design decisions.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a graphic design role, preferably in a large financial services or investment organization.
  • A degree or diploma in graphic design or a related discipline.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in print and digital design execution, brand identity, integrated marketing material design, art direction, and multimedia.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with video editing software, collaborative web-based design tools, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with senior leaders to advise on creative ideas and concepts.
