Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at TPC Childcare Society. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality childcare programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various activities
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and guardians
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
