Job Title: Construction Site Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Site Assistant to join our team at J Singh Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

About the Job:
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent physical stamina, as this role involves manual labor, working outdoors, and handling heavy loads.
  • You will be responsible for assisting experienced tradespeople with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and demolishing buildings.

Responsibilities:
  1. Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas on-site.
  2. Assist experienced tradespeople with tasks such as erecting scaffolding, setting up ramps, and dismantling temporary structures.
  3. Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt according to specifications.
  4. Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites under close supervision.
  5. Help level earth to fine grade specifications and assist in demolishing buildings.
  6. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  7. Direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed.

As a Construction Site Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:
  • No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Ability to work under pressure and physically demanding conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
