About Our Client

A reputable family law firm with a diverse clientele, committed to providing prompt and practical service through a hands-on approach in a team-oriented environment.

Position: Family LawyerResponsibilities
  • Independently manage family law files, handling a wide range of matters, including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, and asset division.
  • Conduct hearings, discoveries, mediations, and trials, instructing support staff and receiving instructions from clients.
  • Draft pleadings and speak to chamber applications, negotiating at mediations and appearing at trials.
  • Manage all aspects of a file from beginning to end, ensuring a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of current experience in British Columbia family law practice, with a strong ability to handle challenging work and manage files independently.
  • Strong judgment, work ethic, and interpersonal skills, with a desire to become part of the community served.
  • Enthusiasm for growing practice and working towards partnership, with a strong work ethic and drive.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $100,000 – $200,000, depending on the year of call, with a fee split arrangement.
  • Hybrid work environment, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
