Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Advisor for Intellectual Property Management at Soucy, you will play a crucial role in protecting our intellectual property and promoting innovation. Your main duties will include:

  • Evaluation of New Concepts: Participate in the evaluation of new concepts to identify potential innovations and opportunities for growth.
  • Prior Art Searches: Conduct thorough prior art searches to ensure the originality of our ideas and products.
  • Patent Application Drafting: Collaborate with the Intellectual Property Engineer to draft patent applications that effectively protect our intellectual property.
  • Monitoring of New Patents: Coordinate with engineering teams to monitor new patents and ensure compliance with our intellectual property rights.
  • Patent Analysis: Analyze existing patents to identify potential risks and opportunities for innovation.
  • Intellectual Property Risk Assessment: Participate in the evaluation of potential issues related to encroachment on third-party intellectual property rights by our products.
