Join Our Team as an ESG Integration and Reporting Intern

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our ESG Integration and Reporting team. As an ESG Integration and Reporting Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of priority ESG initiatives across our various divisions and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ESG strategies and initiatives
  • Support project planning and delivery through information and resource coordination, problem and impact analysis, solution proposals, and more
  • Assist in the preparation of ESG reports and communications to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of ESG initiatives
  • Support the development and maintenance of ESG-related policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • University degree or enrollment in a relevant program
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Familiarity with ESG subject matter, measurement, reporting protocols, tools and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a CPA or internal controls, assurance, and/or data analytics would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
