About the Role:

Eco Friendly Pallet is seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Replace parts as required
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
