About the Role


We are looking for a results-driven Retail Manager who will drive store performance to achieve sales goals, profit targets, high-level customer satisfaction, employee retention, and community involvement. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of leadership experience in a retail setting, with a proven track record of success in customer service, operational excellence, and team management.



Key Responsibilities



  1. Drive store performance through effective leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  3. Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless execution of operational plans
  4. Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  5. Hire, train, schedule, and mentor a team of dedicated employees
  6. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, merchandising, and inventory control
  7. Participate in marketing efforts, including social media, website management, and community events


Requirements



  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of success in a retail setting
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of leadership experience, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and point-of-sale systems
  • Lumberyard or building supply experience is an asset but not required
