Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Lindt store in Victoria's Mayfair Shopping Center location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the store, driving corporate sales, and upholding the values of exemplary customer service. Your passion for sales and merchandising, combined with strong communication skills, will enable you to succeed in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
  • Responsible for generating and driving corporate sales.
  • Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behavior and establishing appropriate guidelines.
  • Monitor sales and labor issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire Retail Sales Associates.
  • Supervise store employees to maximize customer service, sales, and profit.
  • Train sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Timely order merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention.
  • Daily reconciliation of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork, and accounting, payroll, and other store administration.
  • Develop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses.
  • On-going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation and delivery of employee performance reviews.
  • Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety.
  • Cash handling, inventory ordering, and related retail administrative duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Sales-oriented, able to develop/build business.
  • 2-5 years of retail management experience.
  • Good time management habits.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities (French and English).
  • Previous experience in a merchandising or presentation capacity.
  • A history of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
  • A talent for sales and selling.
  • A passion for chocolate.
