Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team at Sun On Food Company.

Job Summary:

The Food Processing Labourer will be responsible for performing various tasks in our food manufacturing plant, including food safety and handling, transporting raw materials and finished products, and operating processing machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as required
  • Operate processing machines, including mixing and grinding machines, and forming machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
