Job Title: Academy Site Manager

Madisons Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects across the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring the safety of all personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the registration and inspection of materials and plant deliveries to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards.
  • Monitor and record the attendance and timekeeping of subcontractors and operatives, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement RAMS, Inspection Test Plans, and other management systems to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
  • Attend site meetings and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Understand and work to project programs, and produce short-term site-based programs as required.
  • Supervise subcontract trades and general labor to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard, and that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Set up and facilitate subcontractor meetings, including pre-start and progress meetings.
  • Conduct formal safety inspections to ensure that construction and site safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and maintain site reports, inspections, and test plans, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and ensure that all company systems, procedures, forms, templates, and policies are utilized and maintained.
  • Advise line managers and commercial teams of any changes, delays, or requests for additional works or variances to the project.
  • Complete site health and safety, quality, and environmental inspections, as well as all job-related paperwork.
  • Hold a CSCS Managers card, first aid training, and a full UK driving license with own transport.
