About the Opportunity
Foremost is seeking a skilled Welder (Journeyman) to join our team at our Calgary facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including production welding, service and repair welding, prototype building, and tank and fitter welding.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently to complete complex welding tasks and projects.
- Lay out and fit major and minor fabrication assemblies for vehicles, rigs, and parts.
- Operate various weld shop equipment as required.
- Maintain a set of tools to perform welding functions.
- Assist less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits, and performance.
- Perform other tasks related to your classification.
Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified licensed tradesman in the Province of Alberta.
- CWB tickets are an asset.
- Must have fitting experience.
- Maintains a set of tools to perform welding functions.
- Safety training is an asset, but will be provided as required.
