About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at the City of Kelowna's Airport. As a key member of the Airport Human Resources Team, the successful candidate will provide HR advice and support to Airport management and staff, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, and training. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Provide HR advice and support to Airport management and staff
- Assist with collective agreement interpretation and administration
- Develop and deliver training programs for Airport staff

Requirements

- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years' directly related generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
