The Accounts Payable Administrator I role at Kal Tire is responsible for processing timely and accurate non-payroll account payments to individuals, customers, and vendors. This includes receiving, verifying, and entering vendor/customer invoices and other accounting transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Review invoices for potential errors, discrepancies, and proper authorization.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • System Entry: Ensure invoices are entered into the system.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
  • Utility Coding: Assist with coding and entering of utilities.
Coordination of Miscellaneous Payments and Requests:
  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare and post invoices re: Miscellaneous, Interco, Payroll, Contractors, Associate location payables, etc.
  • Request Response: Respond to requests from all Kal Tire entities.
  • Timely Completion: Meet requirements and timelines specific to each entity.
Interdepartmental Support:
  • Departmental Assistance: Assist ALL Vernon Office departments.
Customer Service:
  • Field Location Support: Provide support to all field locations.
  • Payment Investigation: Investigate payment issues while following corporate A/P policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Correspondence: Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure First Class customer service is provided to all Kal Tire locations, vendors, and customers.
Job Requirements:
  • Work Experience: Minimum 1 year Accounts Payable or related experience.

Special Requirements:
  • Overtime: Overtime as required.
