Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Satnam Education Society of British Columbia. This permanent, 35-hour-per-week position is available immediately.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for teaching students using a variety of methods, including lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips. You will evaluate and document students' progress, identify individual learning needs, and lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental, and social development.

You will also be responsible for developing course content, assigning and correcting homework, and participating in educational conferences and teacher training workshops. Additionally, you will provide tutoring assistance, supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers, and prepare, administer, and correct tests.

Requirements
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
  • Ability to work in Canada
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include dental, health care, and vision care benefits, as well as a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) and parking.
