Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to the highest standards. If you have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Painting: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces using various techniques and equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including airless spray equipment, brush painting, and conventional spray painting.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
- Client Communication: Provide excellent customer service by advising clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Certifications: Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and at heights. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
