Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at UC Medical Clinic - Mill Woods. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Permanent position
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

Our clinic operates in a fast-paced environment, and we require our Accounting Clerk to be able to work accurately and efficiently in this setting.
