Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care and services to residents with complex and unpredictable health needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide professional registered nursing services, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Lead the healthcare team in providing coordinated resident care and discharge planning.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and values of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  3. Provide education and support to residents and their families on various health-related topics.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports on resident care and treatment.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current active practicing registration with CRNM.
  • Certification in CPR and Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing (an asset).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gerontological nursing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities.
