Program Services Caseworker

At The Salvation Army, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Program Services Caseworker to join our team at Sutton Youth Shelter. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and the day-to-day operations of the residential facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain an active caseload and provide primary support casework to clients.
- Responsible for client admissions and intake processing, case triaging, and referral and clerical duties.
- Provide clients with encouragement and access to wrap-around supports that ultimately lead to obtaining and maintaining housing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and services to support clients.
- Perform administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation, to ensure accurate and timely information.
- College diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in a related field.
- Valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and a current copy of a Driver's abstract.
- Experience working with homelessness, mental health, and vulnerable populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
