Job Title: Cashier

At Sunfarm Produce and Groceries, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the counter area and surrounding areas.
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about store policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
