Security Guard Job Description

Job Overview

Paladin Security is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team in a hospital setting. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and patrons
Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
De-escalate crisis situations and provide support as needed
Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
Write clear and detailed reports of incidents and emergencies

Requirements

Ability to obtain a valid Alberta security license
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills
Strong observational skills
Ability to make immediate decisions in emergency response situations
