Gas Fitting Career Opportunities

At Reliance Home Comfort, we are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing gas pipes and venting systems according to manufacturers' specifications and local building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install gas pipes and venting systems per manufacturers' specifications and local building codes.
  • Ensure safe planning of all new equipment and field works.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, problem solve, and ensure installation excellence.
  • Adhere to all provincial construction safety protocols and PPE compliance.
  • Responsible for keeping track of onsite daily change order logs.
  • Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards.

Requirements:

  • Class B Gas Fitter license.
  • Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Air conditioning installation skills a considerable asset.
  • Physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meet Company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
