Snowmaking Technician

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Snowmaking Technician to join our team for the winter season. As a Snowmaking Technician, you will be responsible for providing the snow base for the timely opening and operation of the Resort's skiable terrain.

• Monitor and maintain snowmaking equipment, including pumps, air compressors, and snow guns.
• Perform preventative maintenance work on the snowmaking system.
• Assist with leak repairs and installing new hydrant locations.
• Adjust snow guns and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

• Prior heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Previous welding and fitting experience an asset.
• Past experience with operation of a snowmobile preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Must be over the age of 18 with a valid class "G" driver's license with satisfactory driver abstract.
• Ability to work independently and in all outdoor conditions.
• Must be detail oriented and safety conscious.
