About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Active Road Side Service. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and classify financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a repetitive task environment
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
