Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Optimum Ride. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on our buses, school buses, and streetcars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers
  • Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
  • Deal with the public
  • Complete logbooks and reports
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers)
  • Driver's abstract
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel
