Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 40+ warehouse employees, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively within budgetary constraints
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing health and safety policies and regulations to protect employees and assets
- Coach, lead, and mentor warehouse employees to enhance their skills and performance
- Oversee the storage, shipping, and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery
- Collaborate with the supervisory and management team to foster a positive work environment, promoting good working relationships and open communication with unionized employees
- Develop and implement control methods to optimize labor efficiency and productivity
- Participate in related projects and tasks as required
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least five years of supervisory experience in a unionized storage or distribution environment
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with Office and SAP computer tools
