About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Civil Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects that involve site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway, and lot design. Your expertise in stormwater engineering concepts and land development will enable you to navigate complex projects from land review through to permitting, servicing agreements, tender, construction, and project close-out.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform civil design using knowledge of relevant software programs.
- Complete the civil design for infill, greenfield, and brownfield land development, municipal, and public space projects, and/or transportation-focused projects in support of our Airports or Ports & Marines teams.
- Lead small to medium-scale projects.
- Review and prepare designs for site grading and site servicing including water distribution, sanitary sewers, storm water management, shallow utilities, and erosion control design.
- Prepare due diligence reports and land reviews providing knowledge on overall servicing for potential land purchases for our client base.
- Build and foster relationships with clients, municipal, and provincial approving authorities.
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior and design technical staff.
- Contribute and provide guidance in project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, clients, and other various project stakeholders.
- Complete field reviews as necessary during the construction administration phase of own projects.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control review on own projects and projects of peers.
- Assist in the development of new standards and processes for the design team.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and the development of project scope and fees through a design-focused lens.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer with EGBC.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience.
