Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health days and clinics
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests
  • Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system
