Job Title: Automotive Service Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Koch Ford Sales (Athabasca) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, while also learning the skills and knowledge required to become a certified Automotive Service Technician.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Develop skills in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and repair problems.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Level three apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
