Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Parry Sound Ready Mix. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a conveyor concrete truck to deliver bulk concrete to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a conveyor concrete truck to deliver bulk concrete to customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment are in good working condition
  • Adhere to company protocols for equipment cleanliness, paperwork, and product checks
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and shop and logistics manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain good working knowledge of traffic routes and customer locations to ensure efficient delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Experience operating heavy equipment and a conveyor concrete truck
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job
