What You'll Do

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. As a Meat Associate, you will be responsible for:

1. Organizing and maintaining the department to ensure a clean and safe shopping experience for customers.
2. Rotating stock and checking for expired products to guarantee freshness and quality.
3. Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to avoid errors and confusion.
4. Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain high-quality products and prevent waste.
5. Taking orders for Deli Department merchandise and preparing items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken to meet customer requests.
6. Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and other essential tasks to ensure seamless operations.
7. Preparing deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizing slicers, stackers, and other utensils to provide customers with high-quality products and services.
8. Filling prepared salads and side dishes for placement into display areas and specialty orders from customers as required.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

- Be 16 years or older

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position starts from $17.85. Rate of pay may vary based on relevant work experience.
