Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills and expertise in rehabilitation therapy, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and recovery-oriented practices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating therapeutic rehabilitation services, developing treatment protocols, and supervising and training rehabilitation technicians and registered therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement discipline-specific therapy and activities
• Develop treatment protocols for specialty areas
• Provide consultation and collaboration among department, units, recovery teams, and administration
• Perform therapy evaluations and assessments, formulate and develop goals and objectives, and implement person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care
• Supervise, train, and evaluate rehabilitation technicians and registered therapists
• Develop in-service training programs and monitor and audit documentation completed by direct reports
• Engage in quality assurance activities to ensure programming meets standards

Requirements:

• Knowledge of principles and techniques of rehabilitation therapy in working with various patient populations
• Knowledge of discipline-specific therapeutic modalities in the recovery process
• Knowledge of implementation and documentation of individualized care and recovery plans
• Skills in the use of rehabilitation and orthopedic equipment, materials, and tools
• Skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation of patient progress
• Ability to plan, develop, implement, facilitate, and administer treatment-focused therapy groups
• Ability to motivate and sustain individuals' interest in rehabilitation activities and make changes as needed
