Job Title: Health Policy Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Policy Development Officer to join our team at the Canadian Centre of Recovery Excellence.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice to senior managers and officials on health policy development, analysis, and implementation. This includes conducting evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs, developing policies, standards, and guidelines, and interpreting trends and developments on health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on health policy development, analysis, and implementation.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs.
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines related to health issues.
  • Interpret trends and developments on health issues and provide recommendations for policy development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement health policies and programs.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in a relevant field (e.g., health policy, public health, health administration).
  • 5 years or more of experience in health policy development, analysis, and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
