Painter/Finisher

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Finisher to join our team at AppleOne. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work instructions, engineering criteria, and/or prints of assemblies.
- Set-up and operate powered and manual equipment to OHSA/Company safety standards.
- Complete work orders, filling in the time spent and the quantity of parts completed.
- Filling out daily reporting sheets.
- Painting: Spray painting a wide variety of products while maintaining compliance with quality standards.
- Metal Finishing: Responsible for grinding, sanding, and polishing product made of metal. Uses hand tools and power tools to ensure a smooth finish.
- Silk Screening: Silk screening a variety of products while maintaining compliance with quality and ISO standards.
Requirements:
- High School or GED, or 2-5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 1 year previous spray paint, silk screening experience required, or 1 year metal finishing experience.
- Basic computer skills an asset.
- Able to work from verbal and/or written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Good hand-eye coordination required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced sheet metal environment.
- Eye for detail. High level of concentration and focus required.
- Good dexterity and some lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Must be clean shaven every day in order to wear respirator.
