Pay: $30/hrJob Summary:

The Pipe Fitter is responsible for the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies.
  • Operate accessory equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, torch or plasma cutter, drill press).
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal pipe, valves, and fittings.
Requirements:
  • H2S Alive, Preferred.
  • Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue, Preferred.
  • CSTS 09, Preferred.
  • WHMIS 2015.
  • Must have Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeyman Ticket.
  • Understanding of control systems is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
