Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled "Retail Sales Associate" to join our team at Aramark.

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, solving problems, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

As a "Retail Sales Associate" at Aramark, you'll be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Register/POS: Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Count, organize, and balance cash drawers, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits as required.
  • Merchandise Knowledge: Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.

Requirements:

  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Preferred, but not required.
  • Basic Math & Counting Skills: Required for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Working Conditions:

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
