About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Aide/Cook at the Jeanne Scott Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and welcoming environment for young parents and their children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for young parents and their children
  • Unload and store donations and food orders, ensuring proper storage and handling
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen, including fridges, freezers, and other equipment
  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as required
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Experience in kitchen work or a related field
  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Commitment to the mission values of Good Shepherd Centres, including availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality, and dignity
