We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist (Employee Engagement Specialist) to join our team at Tilbury Manor. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our employees as we transition to a new long-term care home. The ideal candidate will be skilled in workforce planning, employee engagement, and strategic HR functions.

About the Position

The Employee Engagement Specialist will report to the Executive Director and collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Director of Care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to build a stable and engaged workforce.
  • Fostering a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Supporting strategic HR functions, including wellness programs, absenteeism management, and performance management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • CHRP designation is an asset.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in long-term care or healthcare.
