Job Description

Foicon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our team in delivering large-scale technology initiatives and complex IT solutions in a highly integrated healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage project activities, monitoring and reporting on progress, and anticipating and resolving issues, risks, and conflicts.
  • Deliver complex IT solutions in a highly integrated, technical, health care organization.
  • Manage delivery teams of various sizes that include internal and external resources (consultants, vendor staff) regardless of geographic location where the resources are located.
  • Manage other Project Management resources assigned to the same projects.
  • Work with technology vendors.
  • Utilize various Project Management and Software development methodologies and frameworks such as Waterfall and Agile and others.
  • Manage project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning and quality management.

Requirements:

  • 8 – 10 years of program and project management experience delivering large-scale technology initiatives and complex IT solutions in a highly integrated healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating strength in presentation skills, verbal, written, active listening, conflict resolution and stress tolerance.
  • Experience with health system business requirements definition and implementation.
  • Proven track record working with health care professionals in the field.
  • Expertise in Microsoft suite of products such as Office, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint, and other productivity tools such as Jira and Confluence.
