S.T ALI INVESTMENTS LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.


Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to transport goods and materials across the country in a long haul capacity.



  • As a Heavy Goods Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for arranging travel itineraries, making reservations, and ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
  • You will drive lighter, special purpose trucks, load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of your vehicle.
  • A key part of this role is obtaining special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Our ideal candidate will have experience with emergency roadside repairs, performing brake adjustments, and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • You will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance and inspections.
  • In addition, you will receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo is also a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License and a minimum of 1-7 months' experience as a long-haul truck driver.


You must also be willing to work 40 hours per week and be fluent in English.


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.


In addition to your salary, you will also receive transportation provided by the employer and a permanent position.
