G S Homes Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Master Woodworker to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week in a physically demanding environment that requires a combination of sitting, standing and walking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Shape and assemble materials using hand tools and machinery
  • Join materials together using various techniques
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure efficient project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The work term is permanent, and the language of work is English.
