CWB is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Portfolio Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for providing credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management, and client-facing support for a complex and diversified client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Credit Underwriting: Partner with sales teams to support the branch through effective and timely credit underwriting for new and existing borrowing clients.
- Risk Management: Use knowledge of credit policies and arrangements to apply risk mitigation skills and proactively manage risk with prudent lending recommendations and consistent monitoring.
- Client Experience: Connect with clients daily, providing critical retention touch points for high-value clients and referring them to other business partners across CWB Financial Group.
- Leadership: Lead with intention and conviction, establishing and sustaining a psychologically safe and positive work environment, championing change and collaboration, and strengthening our learning culture.
A Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience) with approximately 6 years of experience in risk management, banking, and business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
