Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Description

As a Precision Machinist Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand product specifications and requirements
  • Repairing and maintaining machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
  • Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools to meet product specifications and tolerances
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and accuracy
  • Maintaining and calibrating precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances, and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a machinist or related role
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
