EHS Director

Job Summary:

Piramal Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Director to lead our environmental health and safety initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive quality culture, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and managing departmental financial budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive audit programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry practices.
• Manage departmental financial budgets and advise senior managers on priority issues.
• Establish and maintain linkages with external resources in industry and government agencies.
• Coordinate and provide safety resources for departmental safety meetings.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote behavior-based safety and lead Piramal Group in related industry associations.
• Mentor and develop direct reports.
• Prepare and maintain site statistics and reports, including recommendations for improvements.
