Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Presentation: Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Order Management: Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, answer questions, and provide assistance to customers with special needs.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Wine Knowledge: Perform sensory evaluation of wines and maintain a thorough understanding of wine varieties and pairings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on restaurant experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
